What exactly is Hana Japanese Steak House “Love Is Blind” Dating Party?
It is a chance to meet local Albany singles between the ages of 24 and 45 in a friendly, judgment free environment. Hana will provide 3 anonymous love matches based on your answers to our dating questionnaire, its’ your job to pick them out of the crowd. At the end of the event, if participants have named one another as a match, Hana will exchange your email addresses. The rest will be up to you.

How should I dress?
The most important thing is to wear what you feel comfortable in. A lot of our guests come straight from work, so suits etc. are fine. However, remember that you are trying to make a good impression and first impressions count!

Who can I expect to meet?
Most of our guests are professionals looking for a fun time and to meet new people. They are normal, interesting and attractive people who just don’t have time to meet other like-minded singles, through work pressures, hectic lifestyles or closed social groups.

What will I receive?
You will receive an eye mask, 3 anonymous love matches, appetizers by Hana Japanese Steak House, one alcoholic beverage (cocktail, glass of wine/draft beer), unlimited fountain drinks and coffee, entertainment by PYX106 (on April 8th) and chances to win multiple prizes.

Can I attend the event even if I do not register?
Yes, there's no purchase necessary for the prizes. You must be present before 7pm on the date of the event for the main prize. The main prize is a 32in LCD flat screen provided by Hippos Home Entertainment Center. Employees and family members of Hana Japanese Steakhouse and PYX106 are not eligible to win.

Privacy and Safety

Will my personal information be kept private?
Yes, Hana Japanese Steak house will only use your information for the purpose of the “Love Is Blind” Dating Party. Your email address will be used for confirmation information and updates on the event. Your email address will only be given to another person at the event if both of you name one another as a match. Your information will remain private although, in the case your information is stolen, Hana Japanese Steak House cannot be held responsible.
